Cape May Brewing Company Announces Two Limited-Edition Barrel-Aged Beers in Cahoots with Bulleit Bourbon

Cape May Brewing Company Announces Two Limited-Edition Barrel-Aged Beers in Cahoots with Bulleit Bourbon

Cape May Brewing Co. is excited to announce a special Black Friday release of two limited-edition barrel-aged beers, crafted in cahoots with Bulleit Bourbon. This exclusive release will add two unique barrel-aged variants to Cape May’s Warmth & Wood series, launching in the Tasting Room on Friday, November 29, 2024.

“We’re thrilled to have worked with the Bulleit team on this exciting release,” said Marketing Director Alicia Grasso. “From the beginning, it was clear that their commitment to quality and craftsmanship matched our own and these barrel-aged brews are the perfect marriage of our shared dedication to creating exceptional products. We can’t wait for our fans to experience them!”

Fans can look forward to two distinct brews, crafted with a grain bill inspired by the iconic Bulleit bourbon and rye recipes:

  • Warmth & Wood: Bourbon Barrel-Aged American Pale Ale — This American pale ale features biscuit malt, flaked rye, and flaked corn, offering a subtle sweetness that balances the flaked rye's grainy complexity and rich, bready notes. Barrel aging adds smooth vanilla undertones and deep oak richness, creating a velvety mouthfeel that blends malt sweetness with unique barrel notes.
  • Warmth & Wood: Rye Pale Ale — This limited-edition ale showcases flaked rye and crystal malts, delivering sharp spice notes that complement the smooth, toasty malt velvety mouthfeel and layered complexity.

Both beers will be available on draft and in 4-packs to-go starting November 29; exclusively in the Tasting Room, while supplies last. To celebrate the release, the Tasting Room will also be hosting a Warmth & Wood Release Party on Black Friday.

“Black Friday at the brewery is always a special time, and this year’s event will be one to remember,” said Tasting Room General Manager Chris Costello. “We’ve pulled out all the stops, from festive decorations and live music to special flights and exciting giveaways. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Tasting Room to kick off the holiday season with these incredible brews.”
