Mango Habanero Salsa
Makes about 3 cups of salsa
Ingredients:
2 ripe mangoes, seed removed, peeled and diced
1 cup finely diced red onion
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons habanero-flavored beer.
½ teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon (up to 1 teaspoon) minced fresh habanero pepper, seeds and membrane removed (optional)
Suggested beer: Habanero Sculpin.
Directions:
Gently combine all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend. Top your chili with a spoonful.
