Best 5 Party Drinks for a Crowd

Having a party's the best thing, right? But the planning of your special event can be overwhelming. We understand. We’ve been there too. That’s why, when you’re planning to throw a party, we hope you’ll consider some of these fun drinks, each of which will add an element of surprise and excitement to your party. You can also table games online for kiwis to add a special entertaining element to your special day.

The Black Velvet

What would we do without it? It's always the perfect way to kick off a night out with friends, loved ones, or colleagues. But who gets to sip on the Black Velvet the most? Us, that's who. This one's the best way to end a date if you really want to get your groove on. After all, who wouldn't want to end a date with champagne in a glass that's covered with strawberries and raspberries, or on the beach, or by the pool, or wherever you decide to drink it? Get it down with a little something like this.

The Champagne Punch

OK, this drink is a little less glamorous than the black velvet, but it's a crowd pleaser. It's easy to get right, but you don't have to limit yourself to champagne, either. You could go with prosecco for that “punch” part or try your hand at a raspberry, strawberry, or cherry soda, too. It is a crowd pleaser, indeed, just like a top-notch casino from CasinoLuck ratings packed with interesting games. But how many of them have we served over the years? None.

The Bellini

This classic drinks-party concoction can be served with either Prosecco or Vodka, and it really couldn't be simpler. But of course, the way you serve can make or break it. Some insist that if you serve it with the ice on top, your Bellini will actually stay cold until you pour it out. Others say that if you serve it in a glass, the water in the bottom will dilute the ice, and it will become a warm Bellini. In reality, either way, is right — just be careful because the Bellini is really easy to mess up. But there's a reason it's so popular — it's absolutely delicious. And not just because it's pink — it's really, really easy to make.

The Pink Lemonade

The easiest drink to make and the most fun. This recipe isn't as involved as the Bellini or the Champagne Punch, but it does involve one of the few hard parts — a mixer. Don't worry, though — you can just go ahead and buy one, and it will be way better than you could ever make. It doesn't have to be a mixer, either — it can be anything from soda to fruit punch to coconut water or ginger ale. Get creative, and you'll have a crowd-pleaser.

The Frozen White Beer

We've said it before, and we'll say it again: frozen white beer is a good thing. It's the perfect way to cool down on a hot day or top off a night out — or, heck, just about any party. You can find it with just about any type of beer — so it's the perfect drink to bring with you to a party. Feel free to test out your mixer — all you need is some water, lemonade, or ginger ale, and you're ready to go.

The Screwdriver

The Screwdriver is the drink that first made vodka a household name — in fact, it's one of our most popular drinks and the easiest to make. It's also surprisingly good. But what makes it so popular? You can find all kinds of variations on the screwdriver — from the old-fashioned to the martini, the virgin to the bloody mary. And they all have their fans. But one of the best things about this drink is that it makes an excellent mixer — just add a bit of simple syrup to the vodka, and you've got a great mixer.

The Margarita

The margarita is one of the oldest and simplest of all alcoholic drinks, and yet, we still really like it. We love the way it tastes, the simple simplicity of it, and the way it feels. We've also been known to say that the margarita is the best mixer because it doesn't dilute any drinks. No one's going to drink a second margarita if the first one was watered down. But, and we're sure you've guessed this one by now, there's more to a margarita than just tequila. Most recipes include fresh lime juice, and, of course, that's a must-have to entertain your guests at a home party.

The Cosmopolitan

The story goes that this drink was invented by a bartender named Ian M. Simpson — yes, it's true. And his story is a great one: as a young bartender in New York, he was asked to find the perfect way to make a mix. So he made a drink with vodka, cranberry juice, and lime juice, and called it the Cosmo. He soon decided to add a little orange liqueur to the mix and then something else. But the rest is history. The Cosmopolitan is now the standard drink for ladies-night-out, and vodka is now the standard drink of choice for guys. One of our favorite twists on the Cosmo is with Champagne, but we prefer a splash of Prosecco.

The White Russian

There's no denying the White Russian's popularity. And there's a reason for that. But maybe the most underrated aspect of this drink is that it's made using only vodka and coffee. It's really not hard to find a recipe for a White Russian, but what makes this drink so popular is how well-known it is. The White Russian is one of those drinks that doesn't make a mess. You can have it in a glass, or over ice, or both, and that means it's perfect to have at any party but especially during summertime.
