Drink Local Think Global Launches Craft Brewery Employee Assistance Program

Drink Local Think Global Launches Craft Brewery Employee Assistance Program

Drink Local Think Global, a campaign founded on supplying clean drinking water to communities in need, has now launched an initiative to help aid craft brewery employees out of work due to COVID-19. Full details are below.

Partnering with craft breweries and connecting them to communities in need of clean water has always been a key component of Drink Local Think Global (DLTG). Because of the current situation regarding COVID-19, many local craft breweries are being forced to shut down their taprooms. This is resulting in layoffs and reduced hours for taproom employees including servers, bartenders, and brewers.

These unavoidable circumstances are causing hardships and turmoil for employees at these small businesses. Here at DLTG, we believe it is our duty to show support to the industry that has continually supported us in the past.

For a limited period of time, we will pivot our focus to reflect our support for craft breweries. Our mission will remain the same, allowing donations for the global water crisis to continue during this time, but the This One’s for You campaign gives you the opportunity to contribute specifically to supporting craft brewery employees in need of assistance. 100% of all funds raised through this campaign will be disbursed to craft brewery employees throughout the nation.
