Taco Mac Taps Rare German Style Zwickelbier

In celebration of the 500 year anniversary of the Reinheitsgebot, the German beer purity law, every Taco Mac location is offering a special release beer from Germany – Radeberger's Zwickelbier, which will mark the first time its made it to the US. Some locations will also be holding patio celebrations in honor of the Pure Beer Law, pouring until the kegs are gone.

A Zwickelbier is an unfiltered lager, similar to Franconian Kellerbier, but with a more moderate profile in both hop and malt, and also more effervescent, drawing its name from the "sampling cock", or zwickel, in the cask or tank which is used for sampling the beer during its extended lagering process.
