Monday Night Brewing in Atlanta, Georgia has announced the release of a new peach cobbler-inspire Sour IPA called Cloaks and Mirrors.
The beer will debut at Monday Night's Garage location this weekend, and the kettle-soured IPA was brewed with Citra hops. Beyond that, Monday Night's "brewers added 800 pounds of fresh Georgia Sun King peaches, Ugandan vanilla beans, Vietnamese cinnamon and lactose," per a release from the brewery.
The full release from the brewery can be found below.
Welcome Cloaks & Mirrors to the Monday Night Garage lineup. Some (us) would say it's like a peach cobbler in a glass. An India Pale Ale that’s not an IPA at all. Or is it? A ridiculous amount of Citra hops were used to provide depth. Kettle souring helped develop tart, fruity notes. But we weren't done. Our brewers added 800 pounds of fresh Georgia Sun King peaches, Ugandan vanilla beans, Vietnamese cinnamon and lactose. This came together as a peachy and bright beer with notes of the classic dessert.
Grab your bottle Saturday (9/28) at the Garage. Some bottles will show up in select bottle shops.
Plus, head to either one of our taprooms to score the spookiest shirt of the season. We're bringing back the (in)famous "Weekends Are Over" skeleton shirt. It's spooktacular!
