Moccasin Bend Brewing Co's 10th Anniversary Party

We've been counting the rings on our mash tun, and it's been almost 10 years since our little brewery was officially sanctioned to brew. We've had our ups and our downs, but somehow we've survived with our original vision and love of all things weird! Along the way we've made a lot of friends - each unique and lovely, in their own way. We think it's time for a celebration.

We've got live music including Pinecone, Blueshammer, Bohemian Bob and The Bel Aires, The Red Rogues, and maybe more!

Boulder Beer Opens New Brewery and Taproom

Boulder Beer Opens New Brewery and Taproom

Boulder Beer has opened a new brewery and taproom in downtown Boulder on Walnut St. For all the details, see below:

Boulder, CO – On July 22nd, Boulder Beer Company - Colorado’s First Craft Brewery - and Frank Day opened Boulder Beer on Walnut, the second Boulder Beer location, at 1123 Walnut Street in the former Walnut Brewery building.  The public Grand Opening celebration is scheduled for Friday, August 25th.

Although Boulder Beer on Walnut is now open for business, they’re throwing a Grand Opening Party on Friday, August 25th. An all day affair from 11am - close, the downtown crew will be tapping their newest handcrafted beers and offering specials on fresh off the smoker BBQ, beer, wine and cocktails throughout the day.  There will also be door prizes and live music on the new stairway to heaven stage above the entryway.

“With a couple of weeks under our belt we’re ready to welcome Boulder to its newest community gathering spot!” said Jeff Brown, Boulder Beer’s President and co-owner.

The new location’s 7-barrel brewhouse is turning into the R&D facility for new and experimental offerings from Colorado’s First Craft Brewery. And with 20 taps onsite, the brewery is excited about Boulder Beer on Walnut’s Brewmaster Rodney Taylor’s rotating brewer’s choice beers and the opportunity to gain public feedback on a larger scale for what might be the next big thing.

21st Annual Boonville Beer Festival Raises $150,000 For Charity

21st Annual Boonville Beer Festival Raises $150,000 For Charity

This year's Boonville Beer Festival raised more than $150,000 for local Anderson Valley charities. For more, see below:

August 4, 2017 – Boonville, CA – With near perfect weather and over 6,000 good-natured craft beer loving fans in attendance, records were broken this year on Saturday, April 29th when The Legendary Boonville Beer Festival raised over $150,000 to support local non-profits throughout the Anderson Valley. For over two decades, The Wee Boont Foundation (with support from Anderson Valley Brewing Company) has dispersed over $1.5 million dollars in donations from the annual “Bahl Hornin’ Tidrick” (that means ‘Craft Beer Festival’ in the local Boontling dialect of the historic Anderson Valley.)

With a tongue-in-cheek nod to the 21st incarnation of this legendary event, this year’s theme was “We’re Legal!” and showcased over 80 breweries and cideries at the Mendocino County Fairgrounds in Boonville, CA.  With hundreds of libations to choose from, as well as dozens of assorted vendors and food trucks featuring cuisine from around the world, it’s no wonder this highly popular festival has built a cult following over the years. Since the inaugural festival was held at Anderson Valley Brewing Company in 1997, it has grown exponentially and continues to draw people from across the United States and around the world.
