Seattle Cider Co. Light Cider by Seattle Cider Co. was judged as BJCP Style New World Cider.

Light Cider is a session drink for those times when your thirst parches and scratches at your throat and demands something crisp, light and clean. Cracking the can releases mild, ripe apple aromas and a clean fermentation character. The cider pours bright, spritzy, pale yellow with masses of bubbles racing to the surface, gradually clearing to brilliant. A refreshing sparkle tickles the tongue with a light kiss of apple sweetness that dries out towards the finish leaving a long clean, lightly tart taste. The balance is outrageously good. You do not expect this much flavor in a drink labeled “light.” The exquisite balance of apple tannins, tartness and just enough sweetness coupled with a dash of well-developed flavors puts this cider above the tasteless alco-pops and seltzers currently crowding their way into retail beer coolers. Light Cider fits the bill when thirst grabs the throat or when the need arises for something light and refreshing to wash down some Humboldt Fog Cheese or fresh grilled fish.
