Description
Pouring a solid gold with a crisp white head, Overdub IPA is a sensory overload of mango and papaya hop aromas, dank grapefruit tones, and mellow citrus finishing notes. This session-style IPA turns down the ABV, and engages the lupulin intensity toggle switch.

After a vigorous pour, strong grassy, pine, cedar tip and freshly baked white bread aromas mingle with fresh apricot and strawberry esters. This beer is a medium-gold color with a frothy, persistent, off-white head. At first, strong and bitter pine resin flavors were noted, but those evolved into grapefruit pith with a dry, crisp, medium-high alcohol heat. This is definitely an IPA, with a hop-forward profile and medium-high hop bitterness persisting into the mouthwatering aftertaste (which had flavors of plain crackers and dried pineapple). The mouthfeel featured medium carbonation and low creaminess cut by moderate appropriate hop astringency and medium alcohol heat at the back of the throat. Overall, this is a stronger and more intense Session IPA that shows off fairly high alcohol warming and aggressive grassy resin hop profile. A well-made example of the style.
