The 87 by Night Shift Brewing was judged as style 21C, Hazy IPA, per the 2021 BJCP Style Guidelines.

This brew features a hazy appearance, light amber color and a cream-colored head. But the hop aroma of strong tropical fruit, lime zest, restrained guava, papaya and kiwi coupled with the moderate bready, wheaty, honey-like malt provide a new angle. The noticeable, smooth alcohol provides a bit of sweetness to dance alongside the hops. But what sets this apart from its stylistic siblings is the moderate bitterness and subtle resiny, thyme-like hop flavor that better balances the sweet fruitiness. To me, it makes this bigger beer that much more drinkable. The only quibble I have with the beer is the slight oxidation, which presents itself as orange marmalade.
