Arrogant Bastard Whiskey Returns

Because one form of liquid arrogance certainly isn’t enough, Stone Brewing announces the release of Arrogant Bastard Whiskey inspired by the notorious Arrogant Bastard Ale. Bold, complex and sophisticated, this limited release whiskey is now available at select stores in California, Iowa and Texas.

The unabashedly intense experience is 97 proof and aged 4+ years in new, charred oak barrels by Foundry Distilling Co.​The Iowa-based distillery is the same masterminds behind Arrogant Bastard’s 2021 whiskey and Stone’s 2022 Imperial Stout Whiskey. But don’t get comfortable, The Bastard won’t be burdened by routine, nor pander to expectations. This is a super limited-edition whiskey for only the Worthy. It may never return. It may return in a somehow-even-more-glorious form. Its future is as unpredictable as the Bastard Himself.  

Arrogant Bastard Whiskey is the embodiment of arrogance. It does not need recognition nor awards to validate its greatness, though it did win the gold medal for American Malt Whiskey at the 2024 Whiskies Of The World, if you’re into that sort of thing.
