Raleigh, NC (June 30, 2016) - Big Boss Brewing are proud to announce the next two releases in the strange cargo series of wood aged brews.

BOURBON BARREL AGED TAVERN ALE
If you know our pub beer we call “Tavern Ale” then you know the original beer is a rich marriage of classic English ingredients brewed for good American craft beer fans.  The Maris Otter malts used in the brew stand up and balance the six-month aging period in fresh oak bourbon barrels.  The final product displays the beer, the oak and the sprits in one sip worthy experience.   7% abv.

SUNDAY PUNCH
Packing a huge punch of flavor this American sour ale was cellared in cabernet sauvignon barrels for an added dimension of complexity.  Tart and refreshing, Sunday Punch may be the perfect summer brew for special occasions this summer.     4.5% abv.

About the STRANGE CARGO SERIES
Our bourbon, wine, tequila and brandy barrel aged beers are worth the wait. Brews from the wall of oak barrels and two Italian made foudres will be offered periodically and in limited allocations on draft and in our signature 12-ounce single serve package.
