Hobbs Brewing’s Award-Winning Sugar Moon Wee Heavy Returns for NH Maple Weekend

Hobbs Brewing Company will celebrate the return of spring at their annual Sugar Moon Fest on Saturday, March 15 from 12:00-4:00pm at their Ossipee Tap Room.

The seasonal event features the 2025 release of their barrel-aged Sugar Moon Wee Heavy brewed with New Hampshire maple syrup and candy cap mushrooms. Sugar Moon will be available in three varieties—Great American Beer Festival Gold-Winning (2022) Rum Barrel-Aged, Bronze-Winning (2023) Bourbon Barrel-Aged, and first-ever release Double Moon, a double barrel-aged iteration, aged for 12 months in bourbon barrels, followed by an additional 6 months in Caribbean rum barrels, resulting in flavors of maple sugar candy, vanilla, sweet caramel, and a touch of spice.

The day’s events include live music from local acoustic favorite George Brown, and featured food truck M.C. Street Eats. All 3 Sugar Moon varieties will be available for purchase on draught, and in 500ml bottles in limited quantities.
