Nine Pin Ciderworks Releases Its Popular Apple Pie-Secco Cider for 4th Season

Nine Pin Ciderworks, New York State’s first farm cidery now celebrating 10 years, is bringing Apple Pie-Secco to shelves and taste buds again this year, on August 5th. This is the fourth year for the seasonal, the longest running seasonal Nine Pin offers, a true testament to its fantastic fan following. Apple Pie-Secco becomes available to the exclusive 26er membership on August 5th, and will be released to the general public on the 6th. 

Apple Pie-Secco is crafted from 100% New York apples from Samascott Orchards, located in Kinderhook, N.Y. The cider is aged with vanilla and cinnamon to create that comforting fall flavor. 

In addition to its delightful standalone taste, Apple Pie-Secco pairs exceptionally well with a variety of savory snacks and, in particular, cheese. Nine Pin already serves a variety of New York cheese dishes and has just added gluten free mozzarella sticks to its Tasting Room menu. Apple-Pie Secco’s crisp apple flavor and warm spice notes create a harmonious balance with the rich, creamy texture of mozzarella sticks, offering a unique culinary experience that both satiates and surprises.

Apple Pie-Secco cider is currently available in 12 oz. cans and on draught in Nine Pin’s Tasting Room in Albany, N.Y. with an ABV of 6.5 percent.
