Yum! This IPA explodes out of the glass with huge citrus and tropical notes – grapefruit, orange, passionfruit, mango – with a touch of pine/resin at the back end of the aroma. There is a light, crackery, grainy malt character and a hint of light caramel sweetness to balance the hops explosion. It has a beautiful light golden color with a slight orange hue, great clarity, and a finger of white head that lasts. The flavor has a soft wheat/bready malt character coupled with faint honey and fruity sweetness that is dangerously drinkable. On top of this soft malt character is more of the strong citrus and tropical notes from the aroma – grapefruit, melon, passionfruit – that tastes very much like Citra hops. Despite all of the hops, the bitterness isn’t that big, and combines with the soft malt to make a very thirst-quenching IPA. Highly recommended.
