1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of BeerConnoisseur.com, The Beer Connoisseur® website, digital content, newsletters, subscriptions, magazine-related offerings, product review programs, ratings and awards programs, advertising opportunities, and related services that link to or reference these Terms (collectively, the “Site” or “Services”).
By accessing or using the Site, creating an account, placing an order, submitting content, subscribing to communications, or participating in any program offered through the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.
2. Legal Drinking Age and Responsible Use
The Beer Connoisseur® is intended for adults of legal drinking age. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 21 years of age or the age of legal alcohol consumption in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
Content on the Site is provided for informational, editorial, educational, and entertainment purposes. We do not encourage unlawful, underage, unsafe, or irresponsible alcohol consumption. Please drink responsibly and comply with all applicable laws.
3. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Site or the rights of others. You may not use the Site to transmit unlawful, defamatory, infringing, harassing, misleading, fraudulent, malicious, or otherwise objectionable material.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Site or Services at any time if we believe a user has violated these Terms, applicable law, or our publishing standards.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization.
5. Subscriptions, Purchases, Payments, and Refunds
The Beer Connoisseur® may offer digital subscriptions, print subscriptions, magazine products, merchandise, trade programs, review programs, ratings and awards programs, advertising services, sponsorship opportunities, and other paid offerings. By purchasing any product or service, you agree to pay all listed charges, applicable taxes, shipping charges, and any other fees disclosed at the time of purchase.
Subscription terms, renewal terms, cancellation procedures, delivery schedules, and refund policies may vary by product or service and may be provided at checkout, in order confirmations, in program descriptions, or in separate written agreements. Unless a specific refund policy states otherwise, purchases are final once processed.
We may change pricing, modify offerings, discontinue products or services, or update subscription terms prospectively. Any such changes will not affect completed transactions except as permitted by law or stated in the applicable offer terms.
6. Editorial Content and Informational Use
The Site includes editorial articles, reviews, ratings, awards, interviews, guides, commentary, product information, press releases, sponsored features, and other content related to beer, beverages, hospitality, travel, food, events, and related topics. Content is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be treated as professional, legal, medical, financial, investment, or health advice.
Product availability, pricing, ingredients, ABV, recipes, packaging, claims, event details, and other information may change after publication. We make reasonable efforts to publish accurate information, but we do not guarantee that all content will be complete, current, or error-free.
7. Reviews, Ratings, Awards, and Product Submissions
The Beer Connoisseur® may review beer, non-alcoholic beer, cider, mead, seltzer, spirits, beverages, products, events, services, and related submissions. We may also operate ratings, awards, seals, medals, trade, or product review programs.
Submission of a product, sample, press release, entry, application, payment, or related material does not guarantee review, publication, rating, award, medal, seal, favorable coverage, inclusion in editorial content, or return of submitted materials. Reviews, ratings, awards, and publication decisions are subject to our editorial standards, review procedures, program requirements, and discretion.
We may update, correct, remove, revise, decline, or withhold publication of reviews, ratings, awards, entries, announcements, or related content as we deem appropriate.
8. Advertising, Sponsorships, Sponsored Features, and Commercial Programs
The Site may include advertising, sponsorships, sponsored features, brand partnerships, affiliate links, product placements, promotional programs, paid placements, trade programs, and other commercial content. Commercial relationships do not guarantee independent editorial coverage, ratings, reviews, awards, search performance, traffic, indexing, social engagement, sales, or any particular business outcome.
All advertising, sponsorship, and commercial content must meet our publishing, quality, legal, and audience standards. We reserve the right to reject, edit, label, remove, suspend, or discontinue any advertising, sponsored content, commercial program, or promotional material at our discretion, including when required by law, platform policy, advertising standards, search engine guidance, payment processor requirements, or our own editorial and business standards.
9. User Submissions, Contributor Content, and Press Materials
You may have opportunities to submit comments, article pitches, drafts, photographs, videos, graphics, press releases, product information, reviews, ratings materials, contest entries, advertising materials, or other content (collectively, “Submissions”).
By submitting any content to us, you represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and releases to submit the content and to allow us to use it as described in these Terms. You also represent that your Submission does not violate any third-party rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, intellectual property rights, laws, or contractual obligations.
By submitting content, you grant The Beer Connoisseur® a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to edit, publish, reproduce, distribute, display, archive, adapt, promote, and otherwise use the Submission in connection with the Site, our publications, newsletters, social media channels, advertising materials, archives, and related business activities. This license does not require us to publish your Submission.
We may edit, reject, remove, or decline to publish any Submission at our discretion. Submission of content does not create an employment, contractor, partnership, agency, or confidential relationship unless separately agreed in writing.
10. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including articles, photographs, graphics, videos, design, logos, trademarks, service marks, trade names, ratings, awards, seals, compilations, and other materials, are owned by The Beer Connoisseur®, its licensors, contributors, or other rights holders and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, scrape, republish, sell, exploit, or create derivative works from Site content without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
11. Copyright Complaints
If you believe that content on the Site infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us with sufficient information to identify the material, explain the claimed infringement, and allow us to respond. We may remove or disable access to content that we believe may infringe rights or violate these Terms.
12. Third-Party Links, Services, and Embedded Content
The Site may link to third-party websites, advertisers, social media platforms, ecommerce platforms, payment processors, analytics providers, video platforms, embedded content, and other services not controlled by The Beer Connoisseur®. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, terms, policies, security, or availability of third-party sites or services.
13. Contests, Promotions, and Special Programs
From time to time, we may offer contests, giveaways, sweepstakes, promotions, tastings, ratings programs, awards programs, or other special programs. These may be subject to additional rules, eligibility requirements, entry terms, deadlines, fees, judging criteria, and disclosures. If separate terms apply, those terms will control for that specific program to the extent they conflict with these Terms.
14. Disclaimers
The Site and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We do not warrant that the Site will be secure, uninterrupted, free of viruses or harmful code, or that defects will be corrected. You use the Site at your own risk.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Beer Connoisseur® and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, contributors, affiliates, service providers, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of the Site, Services, content, subscriptions, purchases, reviews, ratings, awards, submissions, advertising programs, or third-party services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Site or Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim during the six months before the claim arose.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Beer Connoisseur® and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, contributors, affiliates, service providers, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to your use of the Site, your Submissions, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of any third-party rights.
17. Changes to the Site and Terms
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site or Services at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Site with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. To the extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or the Services shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
