The beer had a very nice malty aroma that was somewhat grainy with slight fruitiness compounded with a golden straw color and low carbonation. The flavor was well balanced between the low malt and hop profile. Both of these aspects should be at a minimum for the style, and they were. The body was light and the mouthfeel was the same, however, the beer suffered from low carbonation. Carbonation can do wonders for a beer, giving it more “life” and accentuating the flavors. I still get nice fruity esters and a sweet malt finish in the aftertaste making this an enjoyable and quenching beer.
