U.S. Open Beer Championship Adds Hard Seltzers and THC for 2025
The 2025 U.S. Open Beer Championship is expanding with the addition of the U.S. Open Hard Seltzer Championship, bringing both competitions under one timeline. Breweries and beverage producers can enter beer, non-alcoholic beer, hard seltzer, and non-alcoholic seltzer, with a new THC category introduced for seltzers.
The U.S. Open Beer Championship, in its 17th year, is adding the U.S Open Hard Seltzer Championship into the same competition timeline. Both competitions will take place during the same time-frame and the entry and receiving deadlines will fall on the same dates.
Although the Beer and Hard Seltzer Competitions will be taking place at the same time, the U.S. Open will continue to recognize two separate Grand National Champions and Top 10 for each competition. Each competition will have their own sets of winners according to their respective categories.
Breweries will be able to enter 10 beer entries, 10 non-alcoholic beer entries, 10 hard seltzer entries, and 10 non-alcoholic seltzer entries.
New to the Hard Seltzer competition this year is the THC category. As breweries and beverage producers continue to innovate with THC products, we are opening THC into it’s own category. THC seltzers will fall under the non-alcoholic category.
Breweries and beverage producers interested in participating in the 2025 U.S. Open Beer & Hard Seltzer Championship can find more information and register at usopenbeer.com/registration. The deadline for entries is May 21, 2025.
