David Kriso

David Kriso is a seasoned travel writer and lecturer specializing in railroad and cruise travel. Since launching his writing career in 2011, David has built a respected voice in the industry, contributing to Passenger Train Journal, Porthole Cruise Magazine, Cruise Travel Magazine, Tourist Attractions & Parks, The Beer Connoisseur, and other notable outlets. He also shares personal travel narratives and expert cruising tips on his website, DEKTravelJournal.com.

A northern New Jersey native, David lectures on travel and has appeared on Cruise Radio. His writing has been featured in alumni publications like Report from Newport (Salve Regina University), where he remains an active alumnus. Beyond writing, David works for the U.S. Postal Service, participates in the Knights of Columbus, and continues to share his passion for travel through every story he tells.
