Greg Nagel is a veteran food and beverage writer, craft beer expert, and multimedia storyteller based in Orange County, California. He’s written for OC Weekly, Orange Coast Magazine, The Beer Connoisseur, and The Equipped Brewer, and is the founder of the Firkfest Cask Beer Festival. Greg also hosts the Four Brewers podcast and produces brewery-focused video content for Foodbeast and Visit Anaheim.
An avid homebrewer and award-winning cider and wine maker, Greg launched OCBeerBlog in 2011 to chronicle the region’s rapidly growing beer scene. With sharp insight, deep industry connections, and a genuine passion for fermentation, Greg continues to shape and share Southern California’s beverage story.
