Jim joined The Beer Connoisseur® in 2014 as an Editorial Assistant, holding varying editorial roles since. In 2025, he returned to a Managing Editor role for The Beer Connoisseur Magazine. Exploring the world of beer became a gateway to exploring the world, and story research has led him to five of the seven continents. He sees beer as a tool to break down barriers between cultures, and within oneself. Jim graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2013, with a bachelor’s degree in Communications with a Journalism focus.
