Description
It was brewed with pilsner malt, a lot of wheat, some oats, seasoned with primarily New Zealand Motueka and Rakau hops, then fermented with Norwegian Hornindal Kwiek yeast. You’ll find bright flavors of orange and lime along with hints of tropical fruit, citrus rind and grass.

Attention Ritual by Ghost Hawk Brewing Co. is a Hazy IPA and is being evaluated as a Hazy IPA (category 21C in the 2021 BJCP Beer Style Guidelines). Hazy IPAs are known for their juicy/tropical fruity/citrusy hop-forward character, hazy appearance and lighter-than-typical American IPA bitterness. Attention Ritual was brewed with New Zealand Motueka, Rakau and Citra hops.
Attention Ritual pours light golden in color, is very hazy, and sports a medium off-white head. The aroma is moderate tropical fruit, coconut and citrusy hops with a hint of malt. The flavor is moderate pineapple and coconut hop flavors with no malt. The body is somewhat thin. The beer finishes lightly bitter with moderate pineapple and coconut-flavored hops.
This is a very pleasant Hazy IPA with prominent tropical fruit hops that stay pronounced all the way through to the finish. The low bitterness and creamy mouthfeel are on par for the Hazy IPA style. A little more malt profile would help balance the beer but, regardless, hop heads will rejoice for this well-brewed IPA.
