Oskar Blues Expands Lineup with Dale’s IPA Mix Pack and Debuts Neon Rodeo Slightly Sour Ale
Oskar Blues Brewery is once again shaking up the craft beer scene, with two exciting releases this month. The year-round Dale’s IPA Mix Pack is a convenient way to enjoy the brewery’s beloved IPAs. The other new (limited) release dubbed ‘Neon Rodeo’ takes a playful and slightly sour spin. These releases attest to the brewer’s dedication to bold flavors while also always endeavoring to redefine the possibilities of craft beer.
A press release from Oskar Blues Brewery announced that the Dale’s IPA Mix Pack is shipping to select states this month. Neon Rodeo will be nationally available from March until July in 6-packs of 12-oz cans and on draft.
It will be remembered that when Dale’s started canning craft beer at Oskar Blues Brewery in 2002, the beer industry laughed. But then they cracked open a can. It was a trailblazing shift that re-wrote the rules and helped to convince the industry that bold, high-quality craft beer belonged in cans, too.
Honoring the same boundary crushing spirit, the Dale’s IPA Mix Pack celebrates what Dale’s does best: bold flavor, hoppiness, and drinkability. With three cans of Dale’s Easy IPA (a 4.9% brew inspired by the fan-favorite “Pinner Session IPA,” packed with tropical and citrus aromas),six cans of Dale’s American IPA (a classic West Coast-style IPA with hints of citrus and pine), and three cans of Dale’s Double IPA (a balanced, hop-forward Imperial IPA), this pack is built to keep the cooler stocked and the good times rolling.
Also releasing this month under the Oskar Blues banner is Neon Rodeo, the brewery’s first new beer in several years. Previously only available on draft at the Oskar Blues Brevard Brewery & Taproom, this slightly sour fruited ale is now getting the broader rollout it deserves. Enhanced with zesty lime, refreshing raspberry, and a touch of tartness that keeps it crisp and easygoing, Neon Rodeo serves up a bright profile and refreshing finish — suited for the barstool, dance floor, or beach, day or night.
“Dale’s has always been about hops and approachability; crushable beers that show up with serious flavor,” says Aaron Baker, Brand Director, Oskar Blues Brewery. “The IPA Mix Pack, which is made up of three of the most-loved IPAs in the Dale’s family, was a natural next step for us. Neon Rodeo has been a taproom-favorite for years. It’s bright, slightly tart, and made for people who want something playful and a little unexpected.”
