Feather Falls Brewing Company has earned national recognition after delivering one of the strongest performances at the 2026 U.S. Open Beer Championship. A combination of multiple medal-winning beers – and a top-three overall finish – highlights the brewery’s continued commitment to quality, and craftsmanship. The latest honors further cement its reputation as a leading destination for award-winning craft beer in Northern California.
The brewery was named the No. 3 brewery in the nation at the 2026 U.S. Open Beer Championship, earning four gold medals among six total awards and securing its place as one of the country’s top-performing breweries.
The U.S. Open Beer Championship is one of the nation’s premier beer competitions, drawing entries from breweries across the United States and around the world in more than 180 categories. Feather Falls Brewing Co. finished third overall among the competition’s Top 10 Breweries, standing alongside some of the most respected names in the craft brewing industry.
The Feather Falls Brewing Company earned gold medals for four distinct beers:
- Volcano Mudslide—Sweet Stout
- Angry Mama Bear—Imperial Porter
- Crouching Cougar—American Barley Wine Ale
- Charging Buffalo—Belgian-Style Dark Strong Ale
The brewery also earned a silver medal for Rye Not? in the Rye Beer category and a bronze medal for Oroveza in the Australasian, Latin American or Tropical-Style Light Lager category.
