Celis Brewery Named Sales Arm of Uncle Billy's Brewery and Pedernales Brewing Co.

Celis Brewery in Austin, Texas has been named as the sales partner for Uncle Billy's Brewery and Pedernales Brewing Co. Celis will now manage all of the sales for both companies.

Brad Foster, sales director at Celis Brewery, will oversee the sales team representing Celis, Uncle Billy's and Pedernales.

“This is a big step forward in our ability to continue to grow the sales and distribution of Uncle Billy’s and Pedernales Brewing beers,” said Bob Leggett, managing partner of Uncle Billy’s, in a recent release. “The synergies of brands, the expanded reach into additional markets of the Celis sales team, and the seasoned sales experience of the Celis sales team will allow us to get our beer in far more places to satisfy growing demand for our fantastic craft beers.”

AUSTIN, Texas (September 18, 2018) — Celis Brewery is now managing the sales of all beer for Uncle Billy’s Brewery, Pedernales Brewing Company and Robert Earl Keen beers. The consolidation of brewery product portfolios managed by the team of industry sales veterans at Celis Brewery provides economies of scale and expanded distribution for the beer.  

“Celis Brewery began brewing Uncle Billy’s Brewery packaged beer in June 2017 to help it expand its production capacity significantly with a second brewing location,” says Bill Mulroy, president of Celis Brewery. “With Uncle Billy’s acquisition of Pedernales Brewing Company in January 2018, we also brew its Lobo and Robert Earl Keen beers. It is a natural step for us to sell all three brewery’s product lines to continue to expand the sales of these beers.”

In its second year back in business, Celis Brewery has quickly established a large sales footprint across Texas with strong relationships with the largest retailers, on-premise accounts and distributors. The quality relationships and expansive sales network make the Celis Brewery sales team a smart fit to represent the Uncle Billy’s, Pedernales Brewing and Robert Earl Keen brands.

Brad Foster, sales director at Celis Brewery, will oversee the sales team representing Celis Brewery, Uncle Billy’s Brewery, and Pedernales Brewing Company throughout Texas. The team works with 20 distributing companies to sell its beers to more than 3,000 bars, restaurants, and retail stores in Texas. Foster has more than 25 years of beverage sales experience and previously served as vice president at Silver Eagle Distributors and director, national accounts at MillerCoors.
