Six Bridges Brewing Head Brewer Alex Ciaburri and Production Manager Bryan Johnson Talk Sour Continuum with Pink Guava

We spoke with Six Bridges Brewing Head Brewer Alex Ciaburri and Production Manager Bryan Johnson about Sour Continuum with Pink Guava.

BC: Who came up with this beer’s recipe?
Clay Gridley (Owner) and ourselves had our say in how we wanted this beer to be. We've made a few slight adjustments from when we first brewed it, but overall, we feel like we have a strong base recipe for this beer.

BC: What’s your favorite aspect of this beer (flavor, aroma, etc.)?
The flavor for sure. I feel like the flavor from the Pink Guava complements the tartness extremely well.

BC: Where does this beer’s name come from?
Sour Continuum was created from wanting to brew different variations of our Berliner Weisse and using different types of fruit. We have a Key Lime Pie variation coming out soon and possibly a Blueberry Guava one as well.

BC: Is this your “desert island beer?”
Absolutely! It's the ideal beer I would want to have on the beach in the sun all day.

BC: Can you describe this beer in 10 words or less?
Light, refreshing, tart and crushable.

BC: What's a good food pairing for this beer?
I think this beer could pair well with a variety of foods, but the first thing that comes to mind would be some type of Mexican dish.
