Charles Cook

Charles “Chuck” Cook is a longtime beer journalist specializing in Belgium’s artisanal beers, breweries and beer culture. A contributor to The Beer Connoisseur since its earliest days, Cook has traveled extensively throughout Belgium, visiting breweries, cafés, beer festivals and other destinations across the country while documenting its brewing traditions through his writing and photography. His work for The Beer Connoisseur has covered everything from Belgian lambic cafés and Trappist breweries to beer travel and notable American beer destinations. His feature “A Beer Tour of Belgium,” originally published in the magazine’s first issue, was later recognized as one of The Beer Connoisseur’s 50 most impactful stories from its first 50 issues.
