This beer pours a golden color with hazy clarity.  A thick, white head is sustained, leaving a lovely lacing on the glass as it dissipates.

The aroma consists of a low grainy malt at the forefront. Medium-low hops of low pine, medium-low grapefruit, low general spiciness, and a nice touch of sticky resin. There is a touch of floral aroma as the beer warms, reminiscent of a nice blend of traditional American hops.

The flavor has a low grainy malt flavor which finishes dry, setting the stage for the hop character. There is a medium-low hop flavor with notes of grapefruit, light pine, and a touch of rose petal. Medium-low hop bitterness presents at first, but builds to medium hop bitterness in the finish.

The body is medium-thin with medium carbonation, with no alcohol warmth or astringency.

Overall, this is an Exceptional beer. It maintains an excellent balance of low ABV and drinkability while still focusing on an interesting drinking experience. I would love to have this beer with me to drink while floating down the river in a tube for a few hours.
