Night Game is a Double IPA brewed with honey, judged as BJCP Category 22A. This beer’s aroma consists of moderately-high levels of citrus, grapefruit and resinous hops. It is a bright, slightly sweet smelling and very pleasant aroma. It pours a clear, orange color with solid white head and good retention. This beer’s flavor is expectedly hoppy, but limited to pine and resinous characteristics. Bitterness is elevated, yet smooth; it is not extreme by any means. It finishes bitter and hoppy with an enjoyable resinous sweetness. This example is very smooth and hides its strength exceptionally well. It’s an easy drinker and beckoningly mellow.
