A cross between an American wheat and an American IPA. Nice citrus hop flavor and aroma, but the wheat tempers the finish.

This beer pours a clear, deep golden color with an orange hue and a long-lasting white head. The aroma is full of citrusy hops, peach, grapefruit, tangerine and a little earthy dankness. Underneath the hops is some doughy malt, light caramel and a hint of booze. The flavor is similar, but even brighter. It is hop-forward, mostly grapefruit along with more citrus – peach, tangerine, mango – with a touch of piney and resiny notes. There are also some lightly sweet caramel and honey characters, balanced by a firm bitterness and all leading into a dry, crisp finish with a slight warming alcohol note. Despite the small bit of alcohol sneaking thru, this beer is very nice and refreshing. The wheat character gives a soft elegance to the malt for the hops to lean up against.
