Hops in the Hills Craft Beer Festival Returns to Maryville on June 13, 2026

Hops in the Hills Craft Beer Festival will once again bring together beer lovers and visitors for a fabulous evening of tastings and music and community in downtown Maryville. In addition to tastings of beer from regional brewers attendees can enjoy local food and lawn games in a relaxed outdoor setting – with the Smokies as a backdrop. The event is part of the larger East Tennessee craft beer culture celebration through Hops in the Hills Craft Brew Week.

This year’s edition of the Hops in the Hills Craft Beer Festival will take place on Saturday, June 13 at the scenic Maryville Greenway Amphitheater from 5 to 9 p.m., according to a press release from the organizers.

The immersive, open-air “Celebration of Fermentation” invites attendees to slow down, savor the spirit of the start of an Appalachian summer and settle into the rhythm of a Smoky Mountain evening with live music and samplings of craft beer from several regional breweries.

This year’s Hops in the Hills Craft Beer Festival offers attendees a chance to enjoy an early summer evening with the following:

  • Ambience of a mid-June evening in the foothills of the Smokies
  • Craft beer samplings showcasing the stories and creativity behind East Tennessee’s beer scene
  • Live music drifting across the greenway near downtown Maryville
  • Lawn games and shared tables that invite connection
  • Local food offerings that complement the brews

General admission tickets are $75 plus fees and include unlimited tastings from regional breweries, food, live music and an official event T-shirt. Designated driver tickets are available for $40 plus fees.

For guests wanting an elevated evening, the $125 VIP Experience offers exclusive specialty pours unavailable during the festival, appetizers, premium merchandise, early T-shirt pickup and dedicated festival entry with no waiting line. Hosted at the Maryville College Downtown Center ( just a quick walk to the VIP entrance), the VIP Experience creates a more intimate kickoff before guests head into the main festival.
