Left Hand Brewing’s Team Left Hand Passes $10 Million Raised for MS
A cycling team that began with a group of Left Hand Brewing employees has crossed a major fundraising milestone. Team Left Hand has now raised more than $10 million for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society through its participation in Bike MS. Since launching in 2008, the program has grown from a brewery-based effort in Colorado into a nationwide network of riders and volunteers.
According to a press release from Left Hand Brewing, Team Left Hand reached the milestone as it wrapped up its final ride of the 2026 season in California. At its peak, the team included more than 600 riders across eight states and became the largest national Bike MS team.
Founded by Left Hand Brewing COO, Chris Lennert, Team Left Hand began as a small group of brewery employees brought together by a commitment to supporting people affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Since then, the team has grown into a nationwide fundraising effort, reaching more than 600 riders at its peak across eight states, making it the largest national Bike MS team.
“In my early days of Bike MS, I never dreamed that we would be hitting numbers this large,” says Chris Lennert, founder of Team Left Hand. “There are no words to express how grateful I am to every rider, volunteer, employee, sponsor, support staff and my family for being a part of this journey.”
As a proud national sponsor of Bike MS, Left Hand Brewing Company continues to support teams across the country. From custom jersey designs to logistics and technical support, riders and Left Hand Brewing employees work together. Sharing the experience with teams in other states, the brewery helps to bring riders, volunteers and supporters together around a shared cause.
Over the past weekend, Team Left Hand wrapped up their last ride of the 2026 season in California, where Chris and part of the team were able to celebrate their accomplishment. What started as a small team at a craft brewery in Longmont, Colorado, has grown into a nationwide community of cyclists and supporters working to help people living with MS to lead their best lives.
