Miller Lite Rolls Out Limited-Edition ‘Clinch Cans’ to Celebrate Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Team’s Historic Win
As Milwaukee’s hometown baseball team, aptly named the Milwaukee Brewers, celebrates its historic World Series victory, Miller Lite has found a unique way to preserve the excitement beyond the ballpark. Through its limited-edition ‘Clinch’ Cans, the brewery is giving fans a tangible piece of the team’s unforgettable achievement. It’s a toast to Milwaukee baseball, hometown pride, and a moment fans will remember for years to come.
In a press release, Miller Lite announced that a limited run of 4,400 Clinch Cans will be available by online reservation, with fans able to book theirs for pickup at the Miller Brewery Tour Center in Milwaukee.
These one-of-a-kind brews are filled with the very beer that was being made the exact moment the team won it all, capturing the magic of the last out in a can of The Original Light Beer.
It all started when the Brewers clinched the championship at 10:13 p.m. CT. Right then, there were thousands of cans of Miller Lite being produced at the brewery down the road from the team’s ballpark. So, Miller Lite made a call to its own bullpen of brewers to mark the precise beers that were on the line exactly when history was made. That very batch is now getting its own spot in the lineup, packaged into 4,400 commemorative Clinch Cans, a tip of the cap to the 44 years that fans have waited for another chance at winning a championship, delivering the ultimate reason to raise a cold one.
“This is the biggest win in Brewers history. As the official beer of our hometown team – one named after beer, no less – we knew we couldn’t just sit back and say ‘congrats’,” said Courtney Benedict, Vice President of Marketing, Miller Lite Family of Brands. “The only question was how to celebrate a moment this big. As it turns out, the answer was already brewing!”
Complete with limited-edition Brewers packaging, these cans aren’t just another piece of baseball memorabilia, they’re a part of Milwaukee history. And while the final out may be in the books, this is one piece of Miller Time fans can hold onto long after the celebration.
“Brewers fans have waited a long time for this moment and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with them,” said Rick Schlesinger, President of Business Operations, Milwaukee Brewers. “Miller Lite has been part of the Brewers family for decades, so leave it to them to toast our fans in a way that only they can. The Clinch Cans give our fans a little piece of the celebration to call their own.”

Behind the Milwaukee Brewers Name
The Milwaukee Brewers name is deeply rooted in the city’s brewing heritage, a legacy that stretches back to the mid-1800s when German immigrants helped transform Milwaukee into America’s brewing capital. The Miller Brewing Company, founded in Milwaukee in 1855, grew alongside industry leaders helping define the city’s identity. As baseball emerged in Milwaukee in the late 19th century, the nickname “Brewers” became a natural tribute to the industry that fueled the city’s growth and reputation. Today, the Brewers name remains a proud symbol of the city’s enduring relationship with beer, a heritage shaped in large part by Miller Brewing Company’s roots in Milwaukee.
