Pure Project Fully Enters the Non-Alcoholic Beer Space with Two New Brews
Pure Project is pushing its brewing philosophy further than ever before. It is launching into the rapidly expanding non-alcoholic beer market with two carefully considered releases. The new brews demonstrate the same attention to ingredients and balance alongside and flavor that the San Diego brewery is known for all the while keeping the level of alcohol below 0.5% ABV. The move is a major milestone for the brewery as it takes its “beer for good” ethos into an increasingly popular segment.
In a press release, Pure Project announced that the 2 new non-alcoholic beers (Grounded NA IPA and Sunsip NA blonde ale) are now available year-round at all five Pure Project taproom locations in San Diego County, as well as at select retailers.
These releases mark the San Diego craft brewery’s first widely available NA offerings, extending its ingredient-focused brewing philosophy into the non-alcoholic beer space.
Both of Pure Project’s non-alcoholic beers are below 0.5% ABV and offer a full-flavored, satisfying, and refreshing drinking experience.
“We’ve been eager to share our brewing ethos with the world of NA beer, and we’ve been able to achieve that goal while embracing the quality and standards that are at the core of our craft,” said Pure Project Co-founder and Brewer, Winslow Sawyer. “With these releases, we’re excited to give people more options to support beer for good, even when they are looking for a non-alcoholic beverage.”
Grounded NA IPA showcases two expressive Pacific Northwest hop varieties, Citra and Mosaic, resulting in a bold, aromatic brew that delivers notes of bright lemongrass, citrus, and resin followed by a crisp, slightly bitter finish. Sunsip blonde ale moves more delicately across the palate, offering flavors of freshly baked bread and jasmine, rounded out by a subtle whole wheat character and a hint of zesty lemon peel.
