According to a press release from Short’s Brewing, the Thirst Mutilator can be found at select retailers, Short’s Brewing locations in Elk Rapids and Bellaire, Michigan, Indiana, and through Short’s online store.

The variety pack is only available in Michigan, but don’t worry—Short’s is happy to ship it your way.

Since June 2022, the zero-alcohol beverage collaboration features all-natural flavors, a hint of hops, and super-effervescent bubbles for a refreshing, thirst quenching libation suitable for all ages. And with zero calories, carbs, or gluten, it’s a great alternative beverage for dry January and the California Sober set and a great mixer if you’re not planning to cut alcohol.

“Since we started making Thirst Mutilator we have been waiting to release a variety pack! Cherry is such an iconic Michigan flavor, it really rounds out the line up.” Stated Kerry Lynch, Sales Director for the brewery. “If all goes according to plan, you can expect six packs of Cherry Vanilla this summer. But for now, you can only find it in the variety pack.”

There are four flavors of Thirst Mutilator available in six packs—Lemon Lime, Grape, Orange and Cherry Vanilla, released most recently in October 2025. The variety pack will be available for a limited time, so be sure to get it while you can.

About Short’s Brewing Company

Located in the heart of Northern Michigan, Joe Short opened the Short’s Brewing Pub in 2004 in Bellaire, Michigan. Short quickly made a name for himself by producing fearlessly creative, and wildly experimental brews, drawing folks from far and wide to experience his innovative libations. Driven by demand for their Imperial IPA, Huma Lupa Licious, Short’s Brewing opened a production facility in neighboring Elk Rapids and began bottling products in 2009; a second year-round tap room was added to the location in 2021. Today, Short’s Brewing is Michigan’s largest independent craft brewery and is known for products like Local’s Light American Lager, Huma Lupa Licious, Soft Parade Fruit Ale, and Thirst Mutilator Hop Water. Short’s is known for their commitment to community and supports many local and regional non-profit organizations like Paddle Antrim, Up North Pride, Glacial Hills, and the TART Trails Nakwema Trailways project. The brewery is a proud supporter of Michigan music, and hosts family-friendly, free shows all summer at the Elk Rapids Pull Barn and in their newly-opened Beer Garden across from the Pub in Bellaire.
