WeldWerks Brewing Emerges with Four Medals at the 2026 Colorado Brewers Cup

WeldWerks Brewing Co. shone briliantly at this year’s Colorado Brewers Cup, taking home a raft of medals and securing the title of top mid-size brewery. The Greeley-based brewer was successful across a number of beer styles in one of the most competitive competitions in the state. These results mark another big step for WeldWerks and their rising legacy in the Colorado craft beer scene.
A press release from WeldWerks revealed that the brewery earned gold for JuicyFish in the Strong and Imperial Hoppy Beers category, gold for Grandma J’s Strawberry Rhubarb Pie in the Sour Ale category, silver for Juicy Bits in the Hazy IPA category, and silver for Extra Extra Juicy Bits in the Strong ad Imperial Hoppy Beers category.
Additionally and remarkably, WeldWerks was recognized as the Mid-Sized Brewery of the Year, outpacing all other competing breweries producing over 675 barrels annually.
Colorado Brewers Cup competition was presented by the Colorado Brewers Guild, a nonprofit trade association with the mission to promote, protect, and propel independent craft breweries in the State of Craft Beer through advocacy, community, education, and public awareness.
These are WeldWerks’ first medals at the Colorado Brewers Cup, which in its second iteration of the annual competition drew nearly 800 entries from 120 Colorado breweries. This is the first major competition award earned by Juicy Bits, WeldWerks’ flagship IPA, and the second medal earned by Extra Extra Juicy Bits after winning gold at GABF in 2019.
“The number and quality of entries at the Colorado Brewers Cup is a testament to the fact that Colorado is home to some of the best beers in the country and truly is the State of Craft Beer.
