Here’s the thing when it comes to craft beer in Michigan: no one messes around.

The Flying Fish Brewing Company of Cherry Hill, N.J., announced recently that they would release their award winning Exit 4 American-style Tripel in 12 oz. bottles starting in February.

Citing a rising demand for their beers like Arrogant Bastard Ale or Ruination IPA, Stone Brewing of California announced last month that they are considering opening a brewery in Europe.

With so much attention paid to the Great American Beer Festival in Denver a couple of months ago, it was easy to overlook a new brew-themed competition that took place in October in Reno, Nevada.
