Euphonia Pilsner by New Realm Brewing was judged as BJCP Category 5.D German Pils. This beer has cracker-like and bready malt aromas, which are a giveaway for a high proportion of pilsner malt and true to style. There is also a low spicy, peppery hop aroma. The hops could be a noble variety or some newer variant; regardless it is pleasant. This beer is clear and straw-colored with a solid white head. Its flavor has a pilsner malt richness, signalling that there are no adjuncts. Moderate spicy and herbal hop flavors are bolder than expected, but welcome. Similarly, this beer has a muscular bitterness and finishes dry. It has a medium body and moderately-high carbonation. Overall, this is a spirited and tasty example of a traditional style.
