Get Set Wheat by Kit NA Brewing Co. is being evaluated as a Witbier (Category 24A) from the 2021 BJCP Style guidelines.

Aromas of coriander and sweet ripe citrus fruit are present, along with a notable herbal element from the spices help the beer’s sip end on a sweet note.

The beer is golden and very hazy given the amount of wheat. Visually, it was topped with a fluffy white head that had very good retention.

The flavor is big and bold, unlike any other non-alcoholic beer this judge has ever had. The flavor profile starts with a moderate amount of grainy malt lead by big bold citrus notes, then followed by a presumptive sweetness (brown sugar) before the soft and bitter finish. The hop intensity is low and comes across as spicy. The beer finishes dry and short, which leaves you with a thirsty desire to drink more of it.

The body is medium-full, while the carbonation is medium-high as it is noted for the style of this refreshing summer ale. There are no astringency notes picked up or warmth, which makes sense given its non-alcoholic nature.

This is an exceptionally easy beer to drink; and also one that is packed with flavors and balance while staying true to the witbier style. This is a highly refreshing brew without the alcoholic side-effects, and a beer to bring to all your summer outings.
