Can a sip of Gin have the taste of a sunny day by the sea and recall the enveloping aromas of the Italian Mediterranean bush? Marconi 42 can. It’s the new Italian artisanal Gin obtained from an exclusive infusion of officinal herbs, berries and spices from the lands washed by the Mediterranean Sea. Juniper berries, rosemary, mint, basil, thyme, cardamom, coriander, and fennel create a perfect harmony in 42 ABV of pure fragrant pleasure.

Marconi 42 is the latest creation born from the long distillation tradition and the innovation skills of the Poli family, distilling since 1898 with an artisanal alembic in Schiavon, near Bassano del Grappa, in the heart of Veneto. Marconi 42 is distilled in small batches by Jacopo Poli with Crysopea, his own vacuum bain-marie pot still: a one-of-a-kind distillation method that allows distilling at a lower temperature to capture at the best the freshness of each botanical, thus obtaining intense scents, a neat taste, and a long-lasting aromatic persistence.

In the nose, it has an aroma of sun and sea, thanks to rosemary, basil, thyme and mint. In the mouth, the juniper gives depth and harmony. The retro-olfactory perceptions overlap like waves that caress the palate, with notes of coriander, cardamom, and fennel.

If you bring the glass close to your ear, you can hear crickets and cicadas…

 Why Marconi 42:

  • Marconi 42 conveys its Italian soul also in his emblematic name. Guglielmo Marconi was an Italian genius, the inventor of the radiotelegraph and Nobel Prize for Physics in 1909;
