Description
Fear causes hesitation and hesitation will cause you to miss out on this IIPA. If you want the ultimate old school balanced double IPA this is the beer for you. Little hand says its time to rock and roll with a trio of American hops which pack action into every sip. Pairs well with a meatball sub from the shop around the corner, or better yet a second.

Utah Get Me 2 by Honor Brewing was judged as Style 22A, Double IPA, according to the 2021 BJCP Style Guidelines.
The pour revealed a golden hue with a very good carbonation level. The aroma had a nice malt sweetness and subtle hops. The first taste revealed a nice malt sweetness and subtle hop bitterness. The hop bittering was not as noticeable and straightforward as I would like for this style. I would have liked it to be upfront, making it clearer that this was a DIPA. I also detected a slight off-flavor that was very difficult to distinguish and describe. The body and mouthfeel of this beer was medium and the carbonation level was good. Overall, the too-subtle hop bittering and strange off-flavor were difficult to overcome in this beer.
