Crow & Wolf Brewing Wins National Hard Seltzer Championship with 10 Medals

Crow & Wolf Brewing Co. has earned national recognition after being named the 2026 Grand National Champion at the U.S. Open Hard Seltzer Championship. The Clovis brewery won 10 medals in the competition – finishing ahead of producers from across the country. The achievement marks another major milestone for the brewery – as it continues to build on its success in craft hard seltzer.
The medals that the brewery earned across the competition include six gold, three silver, and one bronze.
Crow & Wolf finished first overall among producers nationwide, edging out defending champion Barn Town Brewing of Des Moines, Iowa, with Quirk Hard Seltzer by Boulevard Brewing Co. finising third.
Held in Oxford, Ohio and announced July 22, the 2026 U.S. Open Hard Seltzer Championship drew a record number of entries and awarded medals across 37 categories spanning hard seltzer, hard soda, and THC-infused seltzer.

“This compilation of wins is five years in the making. We’ve put so much time and effort into refining our process for these seltzers,” said Brad Gaines, Head Brewer at Crow & Wolf Brewing Co. “Taking top honors at the national level and sweeping the state competition makes every bit of that effort worth it.”
The result caps a year in which the brewery also swept the Hard Seltzer (Flavored Malt Beverage) category at the 2026 Brewers Cup of California — taking gold, silver, and bronze — and was named Best Brewery in Central California for the fifth consecutive year in The Fresno Bee’s Best of Central California reader’s choice program.

Crow & Wolf produces a sugar-based fermentation seltzer line alongside its beer, mead, and wine programs, with an emphasis on cocktail-inspired flavor builds and small-batch flexibility. The medal-winning lineup ranges from Dark Wolf, a boysenberry-and-vanilla seltzer built to taste like sorbet, to Cosmonaut, an 8% Moscow Mule-inspired seltzer, and Buckle Bunny, a margarita-inspired ranch water.
Crow & Wolf operates a customer-facing taproom at 526 Spruce Ave, Clovis, CA 93611, with brewing operations at 527 Park Creek Dr in the same complex. The brewery is dog- and family-friendly, with garage-door open-air seating, weekly rotating food trucks, and a tap list that spans lagers, IPAs, mead, and wine alongside the seltzer program.
