ONE HEMP Endorses Introduction of Bipartisan HEMP Act to Strengthen Federal Hemp Regulations

The bill would provide the first set of clear federal regulations for hemp-derived products, allowing consumers to know the contents of what they are using and enabling industry accountability. According to a press release from One Hemp, The HEMP Act, which was which was presented by U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R‑VA), Chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health, and U.S. Congressman Marc Veasey (D‑TX) is a huge step forward. It represents critical progress toward establishing a clear, enforceable federal framework for hemp‑derived products, addressing years of regulatory uncertainty that have left consumers unprotected and responsible businesses operating without consistent national standards.
