What’s your favorite aspect of this beer (flavor, aroma, etc.)?
The Coconut flavor with the fruit/funkiness of the rum barrels works super well together.

Where does this beer’s name come from?
At pFriem we typically call beers what they are. In this case we aged Rum barrel aged Imperial Porter on toasted coconut.

Is this your “desert island beer?”
Not at all, but coconut and rum character would play well on a tropical island.

Can you describe this beer in 10 words or less?
Seductive aromas of Belgian chocolates, cinnamon, nutmeg, red velvet cake, and molasses. Toasted coconut takes shape as a decadent macaroon.

Do you know a story – or have a personal story – that revolves around this beer?
We love seeing how many folks enjoy this beer, its complicated and easy at the same time.

What’s a good food pairing for this beer?
This beer does pretty well on its own, but could be fun alongside of a Flambe’ or Baked Alaskan, both would be a rich experience!
