Creature Comforts Brewing Company Launches Tropicália, Classic City Lager & Flash Cat in North Carolina

Creature Comforts Brewing Company is now pouring in North Carolina with its Tropicália, Classic City Lager, and Flash Cat. The rollout begins with a Rare & Vintage festival event in Durham and moves statewide. Drinkers can get their hands on a pint of Creature’s award-winning beers as the brewery expands its reach to new markets.
According to a press release from Creature Comforts Brewing, distribution throughout the state of North Carolina is beginning in February 2026.
The initial expansion will include several beers from Creature’s core lineup – Tropicália, Classic City Lager and Flash Cat – each available in draft, six-packs, as well as two variety packs.
Creature will be making its North Carolina debut at the Rare & Vintage festival in Durham before a string of launch events scheduled over the coming months. Known for its philanthropy and social responsibility endeavors, the company recently released its 2025 Impact Report and seeks to introduce elements of its nationally recognized Community Impact program through local partnerships.
“Fans of Creature have been asking us for years when we would become available in North Carolina,” said Creature Comforts Co-Founder & CEO Adam Beauchamp. “I’m thrilled to say the time has arrived, and now all Carolinians can enjoy a refreshing Tropicália whenever they want. The core brands in the statewide launch include:
- Tropicália is a balanced, soft and juicy IPA. A hop aroma of citrus and ripe passion fruit leads into a full, fruit-forward hop flavor that washes over the palate and ends with a subtle bitterness.
- Classic City Lager is a clean, crisp, easy-drinking lager that has been voted America’s Best Pilsner twice – winning gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival in 2022 and 2024.
- Flash Cat is an 8.0% Imperial IPA with big tropical vibes and a silky-smooth smile. Brewed with Columbus, Citra and Galaxy hops, it presents an aroma of tropical fruit, citrus and melon, with a balanced bitterness and medium body.
- Variety Packs:
- Core Variety Pack includes Tropicália, Classic City Lager, Automatic, and Bibo. These beers are four different styles and flavors from our year-round lineup.
- IPA Variety Pack includes Tropicália, Bigger Dreams, Automatic, and Flash Cat. Discover four of Creature’s favorite hoppy beers from our year-round and limited lineups.
