Atlas Brew Works Brings Oktoberfest to Washington, DC & Virginia with Festbier & Events

Atlas Brew Works is bringing its Festbier to taprooms and market partners across Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland. The brewery will mark the seasonal release with Oktoberfest events – featuring beer specials, live Oompah music, and limited-edition steins. The Festbier offers a unique, lighter, more drinkable take on the traditional Oktoberfest style, with sweet bread notes and orange blossom aromas.
A press release from Atlas Brew Works announced that the celebrations will take place at the Navy Yard, Alexandria, and Bridge District locations from September 10 to 12.
With a 6.1% ABV, Atlas’ Festbier is lighter in color and body than a traditional Oktoberfest beer. With an increased hop profile and sweet bread notes imparted from a blend of Munich, Vienna, and Pilsner malts, Festbier results in a more drinkable lager. The delightful orange blossom aromas come from a combination of German and American hops.
