Oskar Blues Brewery Brings Back Its Deviant Dale’s Imperial IPA

Oskar Blues Brewery is bringing back one of its most memorable beers for a limited-time comeback. Deviant Dale’s Imperial IPA returns with the bold, hop-forward character that made it a favorite among craft beer fans. The revival brings back a distinctive beer from the brewery’s past – while adding a fresh chapter to the Dale’s lineup.

In a press release, Oskar Blues Brewery announced that Deviant Dale’s Imperial IPA will be nationally available through November 1  in six-packs of 12-ounce cans and on draft. It is currently available on tap at the Oskar Blues Brewery taprooms in Brevard, NC and Longmont, CO.

Full-bodied and assertive, Deviant Dale’s opens with foreboding aromas of citrus, grapefruit rind and piney resin, which give way to a wicked, lingering finish, resulting in a beer that is just as big and brash as longtime fans remember.

“Maybe we got a little too weird for 2017, but we’re not afraid of weird at Oskar Blues,” says Aaron Baker, Brand Director at Oskar Blues Brewery. “Deviant Dale’s is a great IPA with a ton of personality – it’s big, it’s loud, it’s really flavorful – and we’re excited to have it back.”

Deviant Dale’s is joining the wider Dale’s family that includes the flagship Dale’s Pale Ale, Dale’s Light Lager, Double Dales IPA, Dale’s American IPA, Dale’s Easy IPA and Designated Dale’s NA Pils.
