In its very first year of operations, Eden Town Brewing Company has won silver medals at the World Beer Cup and the Great American Beer Festival. The Maryland brewery’s achievements highlight the quality and consistency behind its growing range of craft beers. Its latest win marks another milestone as it establishes itself in the craft beer scene.

On Sunday, October 11, at the 2026 Great American Beer Festival® Competition in Denver, Colorado, Eden Town’s Tiki Pontoon was awarded the Silver Medal in the Gose category.

The win comes just six months after Eden Town’s Free Drift Hazy Pale Ale took home the Silver Medal at the 2026 World Beer Cup®, giving the young brewery medals at both of the Brewers Association’s flagship competitions in its first year. Eden Town Brewing Company was the only brewery in its first year of operation to medal at both competitions.

Tiki Pontoon, which won the silver at GABF, is currently available on tap at the Eden Town Brewing taproom in Denton, according to a press release from the brewery.

“Medaling at the World Beer Cup in April was a dream come true, and bringing home a second Silver from the Great American Beer Festival tells us that our first medal was no fluke,” said Matt Dahl, Owner of Eden Town Brewing Company. “To see two very different beers recognized among the best in the country speaks to the consistency and care our whole team puts into every batch.”

The Great American Beer Festival® Competition, presented by the Brewers Association, is the premier competition recognizing the most outstanding beers produced in the United States. This year, 225 professional judges evaluated 7,267 entries from 1,300 breweries and cideries representing 49 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
