The competition is getting cheesy—deliciously cheesy—as J.T.M. Food Group’s 2025 Beer Cheese Throwdown enters its next round! With 32 unique, mouthwatering recipes in the mix, foodies, chefs, and beer cheese fanatics across the country are invited to cast their votes and help determine which creations will advance toward ultimate Beer Cheese glory.
This year’s competition has drawn an incredible range of entries from restaurants, breweries, and chefs nationwide, showcasing the versatility of beer cheese in ways that will make your taste buds do a victory dance. Some of the contenders include:
- “Steak and Beer Cheese Trash Can Nachos” – A towering, loaded plate of crispy nachos dripping in beer cheese goodness.
- “Voodoo Ranger Beer Cheese Brisket Sliders” – A bold, smoky, and cheesy delight with just the right kick.

- First Round: February 17-24
- Sweet Sixteen: February 25-March 4
- Elite Eight: March 5-12
- Final Four: March 13-21
- Finals: May 18 at J.T.M. Booth (#11500) at the National Restaurant Show in Chicago
The final showdown will take place live at the National Restaurant Association Show, where a panel of renowned chefs and foodservice professionals will crown the 2025 Beer Cheese Throwdown Champion. The winner will take home bragging rights, exclusive prizes, a trip to the NRA Show, and the ultimate title in beer cheese excellence.
