Low Road Brewing Co-Owner and Head Brewer Lynette Shoaf Talks Rebellious Red Head

We spoke with Low Road Brewing Co-Owner and Head Brewer Lynette Shoaf about Rebellious Red Head.

BC: What’s your favorite aspect of this beer (flavor, aroma, etc.)?
The toasty caramel malt is prominent but not overly sweet. The dry finish makes this an easy drinker… sometimes too easy!

BC: Where does this beer’s name come from?
My best friend is a redhead and this is her beer of choice. We can both be a little rebellious, especially when we’re together, so it seemed like a fitting name.

BC: Is this your “desert island beer?”
This is a beer that I can drink all day and not get tired of, so it is definitely one I would want on a desert island!

BC: What's a good food pairing for this beer?
For snacking, it’s perfect with a cheese and fruit plate. It also pairs great with BBQ meats like grilled chicken or pulled pork.
